THERE IS HOPE FOR DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTION
-Is someone you love killing themselves with drugs and alcohol?
-Are you frustrated, angry, scared or making threats that you don’t follow through on?
-Are tired of being lied to and manipulated?
-Do you jump when the phone rings, afraid that it will be THE CALL that your loved one is in jail or has died?
-Do you feel like no one understands what you’re going through?
-Are you, essentially, out of hope?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are in the right place.
New Beginnings Interventions can help. So many families feel isolated and ashamed when someone they love is lost in an addiction. They are afraid to talk about what is going on. We create a nurturing environment of compassion and concern in which you can share your story.
Statistics show one out of every three people is impacted in some way by addiction. Can you believe that? On second thought, you probably can.
At New Beginnings Interventions we feel the best approach is to involve the whole family in the healing process. Addiction is a family disease; everyone suffers, so everyone needs to heal. One person is using but all are paying the price. The first step is the hardest, breaking through the denial, both the families and the addicts. No one wants to believe that someone they love is an addict. We understand that, however, accepting that fact is the first step towards freedom for everyone.
At New Beginnings Interventions we am aware there can be resistance to change even if ultimately it will improve life for all involved. After years of trying to intervene on your own the situation continues to spiral out of control. The only way to start having a relationship with your loved one again is to start responding differently. Doing an Intervention sends a very clear message to the addict that the status quo is changing.
While the goal of the Intervention is to get the addict into treatment we also work with you to change the family dynamic to ensure a successful outcome. In our experience, with extensive pre-planning, most addicts will accept the gift that is being offered to them during the Intervention and go to treatment.
By the time most families call us they are at the end of their rope. I understand that. If you are tired of bargaining, threatening, and pleading with the addict to stop using please give us a call for a complimentary consultation and see if an Intervention is right for your loved one.
